    SUMMARY: 

     

    The Recruiter will serve as the internal resource for all things related to acquiring talent. You will manage external recruiter relationships, internal hiring managers, identifying ideal talent and ensuring the entire workflow process is carried out timely and in an organized trackable fashion. You will be a behavioral interviewing expert that conducts first in class interviews and is able to teach, coach, and guide hiring managers to do the same. Your ability to hire and acquire ideal talent will influence internal stakeholders to rely on your expertise.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage all relationships with external recruiters
    • Review external recruiting contracts to advise your Supervisor of potential pros/cons
    • Ensure recruiting agencies are not overlapping and creating an issue for acquiring ideal talent
    • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to create testing, when requested
    • Receive, organize and structure the internal intake process for hiring managers to create a REQ
    • Advise internal hiring manager regarding the best, most efficient and cost-effective avenue for recruitment: Linkedin, Craigslist, Stackoverflow, social media, recruiter, etc.
    • Manage the chosen avenue for recruitment
    • CAREFULLY and CRITICALLY review every resume regardless of the way the resume was submitted. Ensure that the resume matches the requirements in the job description
    • Partner with the HR Generalists to ensure that all job descriptions have met HR approval standards
    • Ensure that approved job descriptions are saved and retained in an organized and trackable fashion
    • Conduct initial phone screens to ensure that the candidates meet basic requirements
    • Document, store, and make phone screen results trackable, auditable and organized
    • Support, coach, and teach hiring managers how to conduct behavioral interviews
    • Create “in take” hiring manager interviews to collect role requirements, soft skill requirements, and the like
    • Analytically apply testing results, behavior results, resume and phone screen review to match the hiring manager’s needs
    • Schedule, support, and document (in a trackable/organized fashion) the results of all in-person interviews
    • Follow up with hiring manager’s thoughts, comments, concerns and feedback following each in-person interview
    • Provide the candidate with regular feedback regarding the hiring process and status
    • If an offer is extended partner with the HR Generalists/Payroll/Supervisor to ensure every team member has the information they need to properly onboard candidates
    • Track and use staffing analytics to improve the process, make recommendations and to create a queue and database of eligible candidates
    • Serve as the Scotts Valley HR Team point of contact for employees
    • You will answer basic Human Resources questions and facilitate (and follow through until closure) communications with your SME Human Resources colleagues to address all employee questions and needs

    • Ability to work well in a flexible, dynamic work environment
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other employees and contractors
    • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form 

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • College Degree
    • 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
    • 3+ years of Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Ability to work in the Scotts Valley office daily
    • Ability to adjust schedule according to the needs of hiring managers and candidates
    • Ability to use computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, and any other office electronics needed
