    This Certification Administrator is responsible for the organizational and administrative needs of the Certification Department. You will be the primary point of contact for the Certification Department’s customer support. This includes, but is not limited to processing all certification applications, certification and re-certification renewals, and providing support to all certification candidates, certificate holders, and stakeholders. In addition, you will recommend changes to information management and communication processes by recommending corrective and preventive actions and identifying opportunities for improvement. Furthermore, the Certification Administrator will assist with continuing education and approved provider program administration and development.



    • Respond to all certification program inquiries, issues, and concerns
    • Review and process initial and re-certification applications
    • Maintain and track all candidate and certificate holder records, for verification of database accuracy and updates to certificate holder contact information
    • Prepare and send official certificates and process requests for duplicate certificates
    • Process CEU requests, re-certifications, late re-certifications, and coordinate corresponding payments as needed
    • Prepare initial communications for appeals, complaints, or disciplinary documentation
    • Maintain records of appeals, complaints, and stakeholder feedback as well as, prepare quarterly summaries of notable occurrences
    • Process and track special accommodation requests
    • Monitor and track administrative system communications to ensure reminders and status notifications are functioning properly
    • Maintain departmental documentation and complete revisions or edits upon request of the Program Manager
    • Maintain and update controlled materials according to version control policies
    • Track updates and prepare drafts for certification materials and website verbiage
    • Ensure departmental record security and privacy policies are followed
    • Recommend program improvements regarding customer interactions, administrative systems functions, and policies/procedures to best meet departmental needs
    • Serve as the secretary for the Certification Board meetings and prepare board correspondence upon request of the Program Manager
    • Support the Certification Department as needed 


    • Knowledge of the CrossFit credential structure, certification structure, and accreditation requirements
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other employees, contractors, and certification stakeholders
    • Ability to effectively present and communicate facts, recommendations, and progress in oral, written, and visual formats
    • Ability to take the initiative, be highly organized, and work independently
    • Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work well in a flexible and dynamic work environment 


    • High school diploma
    • Experience using Microsoft Office products
    • Experience building effective relationships with a variety of customers


    • Ability to travel upon request
    • Ability to use a phone, computer, copier, and printer
    • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and on occasion
